Call it what you will,  the movement toward design that takes into account the environmental aspects of the product, be it a house, business card or a better widget, is definitely here.

While the message is important the messenger - the materials you use - are also key. No matter what you put in a vinyl three ring binder, it will never scream "green" or even "I put thought in this". For pocket folders, 3-ring binders and other presentation materials environmentally friendly materials can not only be cost effective, but better looking and feeling and very adaptable to your needs.

Materials

Naked Binder uses FSC certified 100% post consumer waste board to create our bare board binders. This board is made up of curbside waste, office waste and other papers picked up in the recycling truck. It is 100% recycled and recyclable. Craftsmanship

Our binders are well made.  We had them flexed 250,000 times and they still keep working. We put them through dishwashers, and are still using them. Naked Binder comes from a long line of bookbinders - about 150 years of them - and we construct our binders to last.  We haven't washed a folder yet, but the day can't be far off.

Can Naked Binder be Customized?

Absolutely.  For small orders you can do it yourself:  screen it, foil stamp it, laser cut it, carve it, label it, draw on it, wrap it with printed materials. You could use stickers, pierce them, tattoos, potato art, finger paint or get all Eva Hesse and drill them out and put surgical tubing through them.  The limits of what you can do to a Naked Binder are the limits of your imagination.
