Up to now, Naked Binder has offered a 30% post consumer waste Tab Divider set that is sustainable, recyclable and looks great. Because of the texture of the paper these are not as easy to customize when you need that option.
Elemental, simple and architectural, these tab dividers look great, work great and are 100% recyclable and non-toxic.
Printable Tab Divider Sets
Now we are offering a second set of customizable index tabs. Created from FSC certified 100% post-consumer waste and chlorine free paper, this is one of the most sustainable index tab divider sets anywhere. The 110 pt cover stock has a slightly creamy, smooth and warm look and prints like a dream.
This tab set is easily customizable but running the cover sheet through the laser or ink jet printer. You can not print on the tabs themselves as most machines will jam, but the ruler lines debossed into the cover sheet direct you to the tab you need.
We provide an handy pdf template so you can easily add your text where you want it!
With many of the same features as the Eames Naked Tabs, such as the half moon tabs with Debossed Roman Numerals
We ran tests on ink jet printers and laser printers to see how they printed.
The Laser printer will not fill in the debossed lines on the cover sheet, but the ink jet had no problem.We recommend that you design based on which type of printer you plan to use. Both had clear crisp text and rich colors.
Process(ed) Chlorine Free (PCF)
Applies to post-consumer recycled content only as it means that no chorine (or compounds) were used "this time around" but there may be traces of chlorine present because of earlier processes which where not of our own production process to make sustainable papers.
Post-Consumer Material (PCW)
Waste paper that has served its intended purpose and has been separated from solid waste to be recycled into new paper. Basically, curbside waste.
